The Foundation
The company’s activity began with Enrique Ravello Montesinos, a key figure in port operations in the mid-20th century:
Naviera Aznar Shipping Agent: official representative in Valencia of the historic shipping company from Bilbao.
Port Infrastructure (1942): he obtained the concession to build a dry dock in Playa de Levante, Valencia — an essential facility for the fleet of that time.
Consolidation and Specialization
In 1974, the business was professionalized under the company Gabriel Ravello de la Quintana, headquartered at the emblematic Calle Doctor J.J. Dómine, 6.
During this period, the company specialized in the following sectors:
- Timber
- Industrial machinery
- Home appliances
Diversification and International Certifications
Under the current leadership, the company expanded into new sectors, such as:
- Metals
- Synthetic fibers
- Food
Key milestones of this period:
AEO Certification (2017): achievement of Authorized Economic Operator status, ensuring maximum security and customs efficiency.
IATA Agent (2018): official accreditation to operate directly with airlines, strengthening air transport operations.
Regional Network: consolidation of strategic units at the Port of Sagunto and Grao de Castellón.
Global Expansion and New Horizons
The company continues to grow with a focus on internationalization and the direct management of operations:
Brazil Office (2023): opening of its own office to manage the entire logistics chain along the Spain–South America corridor.
Concession at the Port of Gandía (2025): obtaining an administrative concession for the management of general cargo (paper, timber, and steel products), resuming the tradition of infrastructure management initiated by the founder.
